The Sons of Italy Stoney Creek Crusaders captured the Fesititalia Calcio Cup 2014.Bernard
Josipovic who is a candidate for the Hamilton-Separate School Board trustee for
Ward 9,10 and 11, plays for the Sons Of Italy squad who won the Cup at Bishop
Ryan High School, Bernard’s old high school. Azzuri opened the scoring and were
up 2-0 early on, with the Sons of Italy squad answering just before half to tie
it up a 2 apiece.
With about 10 minutes remaining the
Crusaders broke down the right side to score and put them up 3-2, which ended
up being the eventual winner.
