Hamilton’s Benjamin Faulknor has been a member of The War Amps Child Amputee (CHAMP) since he was 3-4 months old and this month the Grade 4 Templemead Elementary School student will be featured in the latest War Amps key tag brochure.
Benjamin, who was born without a right femur or hip joint, wants to inspire others. “(I hope) people … with a leg like me will understand that they can do things they feel that they can’t do,” said Benjamin, who just finished his third season of novice hockey with the Lawfield Minor Hockey Association.
