WWF (World Wild Life) Canada is asking Hamiltonians and all Canadians to participate in the “National Sweater Day” on Thursday February 17th. The idea is to get 150,000 Canadians to turn down their heat 3 degrees and putting on a sweater to show support for the planet and help with climate change. Wearing a sweater is a symbolic gesture of support for rethinking our energy consumption and using energy in a more conservative way. Take the “sweater day” pledge for a chance to win prizes.
