Hamilton's Punchbowl has been a great place to hike for years. Unfortunately people tend to use the escarpment as a dumping ground. On April 15 2012 at 11am or (whenever you get there) a group of people will be getting together to clean it up. It will be a fun, healthy day of hiking. We are looking for more people to help out. If you are interested in helping please let us know.
We need everything.
Here's something you could bring for yourself:
extra socks, plastic bags for your feet in case your footwear gets wet, hiking boots, gloves, food, water, first aid supplies. If you have rock climbing gear bring it along. Remember to dress in layers. Please don't bring your pets and use your best judgment with kids. Its a great way to teach them that there are also hazards.

Thanks for the update Bernard! I will send this out to the Turtle Ponds Community. We do a cleanup in our area every year. I am sure there would be people interested in teaming up with the Punch Bowl crew.
