With the Little League World Series in full swing, we have to remember the 1965 team from Stoney Creek who attended the annual event in Willamsport, Pennsylvania making it all the way to the championship game and losing to eventual winners Windsor Lock, Connecticut.  Since the World Series started in 1947, no other Canadian team in history has made it to the championship game since the team from Stoney Creek.
